There comes a moment — after the shock, after the silence, after the well-meant words fade — when every widow must decide what comes next.
For Black women, that moment often arrives with another layer of weight: the unspoken expectation to be strong, composed, and self-sufficient, even while bleeding inside.

Nothing happens in life without decisions being made. Even not deciding is a decision. What happens after that decision determines the path you will follow.

The D-Liber8 Path: Black Women Widows Edition was created to walk beside you through eight keys that rebuild your life from the inside out. Each key begins with a decision — a small, sacred “yes” that opens the door to healing and wholeness. This isn’t about rushing grief or pretending everything is fine. It’s about learning to breathe again, to believe again, and to build again — slowly, intentionally, and in partnership with the God who still has plans for you.

While experiencing the DEVOTIONAL, you may find yourself reading through tears or sitting in quiet awe as a verse feels written just for you. Let that be part of your healing. This path doesn’t ask you to be perfect — only to be present.

A Guided Reset for Black Women Widows

The SSS Cornerstone Turns are a three-part, self-paced workshop series designed specifically for Black women widows.

They are not courses to rush through or content to consume.
They are intentional turning points—each one building on the last—to help you lay down what has been heavy, name what has been quiet, and remain present without disappearing.

These workshops are meant to be completed in order.
Each one prepares the ground for the next.

You don’t have to know where you’re going yet.
You only need to begin where you are.

Cornerstone Turn #1

Permission to Rest: Releasing the Strong-Black-Widow Armor

When Strength Becomes a Burden

This first Turn names the pressure Black women widows carry to remain strong at all costs—and gently releases you from it. You’ll leave with permission to rest and one personal Rest Rule you can carry forward.

Cornerstone Turn #2

The Quiet Loneliness of Being Widowed While Black

Witness Without Performance

This Turn addresses the isolation that follows once strength is laid down—being surrounded, but unsupported.

You’ll learn how to navigate loneliness through witness rather than withdrawal, and create a simple plan for staying human in it.

Cornerstone Turn #3

Grieving Without Disappearing

Remaining Visible as You Become

This Turn gently separates grief from erasure. You’ll name what has gone quiet, reclaim your presence without urgency, and establish one grounded practice for remaining visible without explanation.

Sustained Sisterhood Haven Spaces

Sustained Sisterhood Haven is designed with intention—recognizing that women need different kinds of support at different moments in their grief and becoming.

Within SSH, there are two connected spaces:

The Gathering and The Rooted.
Each serves a distinct purpose, and women are invited—not rushed—into what fits their season.

The Gathering

A public space to arrive, observe, and belong without obligation.

The Gathering is the open, shared space within Seen & Sustained Sisterhood. It exists for women who are beginning to loosen the grip of survival and want a place to be present without explanation.

Women are welcomed into The Gathering automatically upon completing the first Cornerstone Turn.

Here, participation is gentle and flexible:

reading without responding is welcome
quiet presence is honored
engagement is always optional

The Gathering is a place to:

sit with what has surfaced through the Cornerstone Turns
witness others without comparison
experience community without demand

This is where women learn that they do not have to disappear to belong.

The Rooted

A private, guided space for women ready for deeper grounding and continuity.

The Rooted is the facilitated, members-only space within Sustained Sisterhood. It is designed for women who desire ongoing support, intentional rhythm, and guided integration after the foundational work of the Cornerstone Turns.

In The Rooted, women find:

facilitated conversations shaped by cultural fluency and care
structured reflection spaces that deepen what has already begun
steady companionship without urgency or performance
a protected environment where grief, identity, and becoming are held with dignity

This is not a louder space—it is a deeper one.

How the Spaces Work Together

The Cornerstone Turns offer permission, orientation, and re-emergence.
The Gathering offers presence and shared ground.
The Rooted offers continuity.

Women who complete the third Cornerstone Turn receive a reduced-rate invitation to join The Rooted, honoring the inner work they have already done.
