She Turned Ministries, Inc. exists for those moments.

Born from the story of Mary Magdalene turning toward the risen Christ as He stopped to tend to her during His journey back to the Father when He calls to her in her darkest grief (John 20:11-17). She Turned represents every woman who dares to believe that He sees her, He knows her, He cares for and about her, and her story isn’t over. Just as Mary Magdalene realized, God compassionately meets you where you are, intentionally comforts you in your pain -- and deliberately guides you into purpose (Psalm 34:18, Isaiah 61:1).

We serve women who have been unseen, unheard, or undervalued — helping them rebuild from life-altering loss and transition through faith-based mentoring, grief support, and community.

Meet Dr. Alette

I am a Black woman of faith who became widowed--and discovered just how much these two journeys overlap. Too often, both groups fight for voice, value, and visibility.

THIS struggle should not be real, yet, here we are.

I'm here to walk with you--coaching, encouraging, and shining a light to help you create your path out from the darkness and the isolation. Utilizing my training as a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®, I provide additional coaching to help clients move through their grief to develop resilience.

It's time to forge ahead... to live life in a better way... and to find community along the way.

Stepping out of the darkness is courageous.
